Andover Town Manager Andrew Flanagan will present a draft of his 2022-23 when the select board meets at the Ballardvale Fire Station at 7 pm Wednesday.
The board is branching out from its usual meeting room in town hall for its next two meetings as a way to increase community participation. On Monday, Aug. 1 the board will meet at the Municipal Services Building at 5 Campanelli Drive, and it is continuing to solicit suggestions for other meeting locations.
In addition to Flanagan’s presentation, the board is set to make appointments for three open spots on the Zoning Board of Appeals. A subcommittee made up of select board members Christian C. Huntress and Melissa Danisch will meet at 6:30 pm before Wednesday’s meeting to deliberate on the five candidates and make a recommendation to the full board.
The board will decide between David Guerette, Carol McDonough and Lisa Rechisky, whose terms expired June 30, and Aseem Junega and Matthew Nigrelli, who are also hoping to be appointed to the ZBA.
Other items on Wednesday’s agenda include:
- A vote to approve long-term borrowing.
- An update from Andover DIVERSE Director Albert Pless.
- An update from the investment committee.
The meeting will be televised on Comcast Channel 22 and Verizon Channel 45. You can also watch the meeting online.
