First Lady Jill Biden was scheduled to be in Andover Thursday afternoon to attend a Democratic Party fundraiser as part of a three-day visit to Massachusetts that includes stops in Boston and Nantucket.
Biden visited with service members, their families and clinicians at Home Base in Boston, a Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital program dedicated to veterans and military families]]. She then headed to Andover for a 4:45 appearance at a Democratic National Committee fundraiser, according to the White House.
On Friday morning, Biden will address the 2022 American Federation of Teachers (AFT) Convention at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, then tour Eversource 99, an electrical substation in Boston, with former mayor and current U.S. Labor Secretary Marty Walsh.
On Friday afternoon, Biden heads to Nantucket to attend another DNC fundraiser on Saturday.
