I write in full support of Susan McCready as a candidate for reelection to the School Committee in Andover.
I served with Susan on the Committee from 2016 until 2022 and can say without reservation that she was a knowledgeable and passionate champion of our students and staff. With each issue that came to us, each budget season, each moment of celebration of our students and staff, Susan met those moments with a full heart, an open mind and a seriousness of purpose. She has seemingly limitless energy for the hours that must be spent in this important, de facto volunteer role; I am truly happy and grateful that she is standing for reelection. We need her passion, knowledge and balance as we navigate the political, social and financial waters of our district.
I ask all your readers to cast their ballots for Susan McCready on Tuesday, March 26.
