Proposed Haverhill Street detox back before planing board: The owners of a drug detox facility in Wilmington will be back before the planning board for a continued hearing on their plans to build a similar facility on Haverhill Street in Andover. Medico 140 LLC is scheduled to meet with the board at 8:15 pm on Tuesday, June 28. Medico is proposing an inpatient and outpatient treatment facility at 140 Haverhill Street, which it purchased for $660,000 in March 2021. While Medico began meeting with the planning board last fall, it submitted a new site plan in May.
Other upcoming meetings of note: The school committee meets at 5 pm on Monday, while the select board meets at 7 pm (links to agendas). The town is also looking for volunteers to fill vacancies on several boards and commissions.
Sunday street closures: Several streets in the downtown area will be closed on Sunday from 7 am to 3 pm for the annual Classic Car Show that runs from 9 am to 2 pm. Avoid the roads marked in red, which will be closed:
