- Andover will hold its Veterans Day Ceremony on the Ballardvale Green (Andover and Center Streets) at 11:11 a.m. today (more info).
- The Town has scheduled a series of virtual and in-person special town meeting information sessions (schedule and more information).

- AHS football broke open its quarter-final game in the MIAA Division I tournament with two first-quarter touchdowns in less than three minutes on route to a 26-14 win over Weymouth Thursday. Junior quarterback Dom Papa threw for 177 yards and added 29 on 10 rthe ground. “At the beginning of the year, no one picked us, no one was pointing at our superstars. We do have them,” coach E.J. Perry told the Boston Globe. The Warriors (9-1) will play the winner of Friday night's game between B.C. High and top-seeded St. John's Prep -- the team that ended last year's post-season run.

In 2018, Andover Town Meeting passed a bylaw banning places that serve food from using plastic utensils, but health inspectors found utensils, cups and containers violating the rules at five APS schools.
