Among the calls that kept Andover police busy this week, according to the police log:
- Andover police arrested a 54-year-old Manchester, NH woman after responding to a call of a disabled vehicle on Beacon Street at 12:47 a.m. on Jan. 21. The woman was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol and assault and battery on a police officer.
- Earlier that morning, Andover police assisted Merrimack College police in responding to a report of a man with a gun on the campus.
- There were several reports of break-ins to garages in the Shawsheen Heights area, There are no suspects.

Wednesday, Jan. 18
9:01 am: Caller reports man entered two unlocked cars on William Street two days ago. Owner has video footage, nothing taken.
11:20 am: Resident reports finding a listening device on her window on River Road. It was an old window sensor.
12:24 Man threatened another ma on Haverhill Street. Both parties sent on their way.
12:49 pm: Detective investigation on North Main Street.
1:32 pm: Past vehicle break-in reported on William Street.
2:02 pm: Large raccoon hit on Haverhill Street.
2:05 pm: Person reports someone entered his car on Washington Avenue and stole items.
2:18 pm: Animal Control reunited loose dog with owner on High Street.
6:46 pm: Mental health.
Thursday, Jan. 19
3:34 am: Assist North Andover police with death notification on Lowell Street. Notification made at 6:47 a.m.
8:22 am: Road rage incident on Brickstone Square, with caller saying a man waved what looked like a gun at him. Suspect followed him from his workplace. Spoke with man — “there may not have been a gun shown.”
8:26 am: Manager on Ballardvale Street wants to speak with police about an incident where one employee threatened another before leaving the scene.
10:22 am: Motor vehicle break-in, Haverhill Street.
2:29 pm: Buttonwood Drive resident reports someone stole a garage door opener out of his baby sitter’s home this morning.
4:25 pm: Possible break-in at house on Colonial Drive.
Friday, Jan. 20
12:23 am: Report of man in screened-in porch on Apple Blossom Road. One person detained.
7:27 am: Town tree fell onto car on Avon Street.
10:39 am: Woman can’t leave house on Elm Street because of an unleashed, aggressive dog. Animal Control Officer spoke to both parties.
12:58 pm: Animal Control picked up dog on Hillcrest Road while owner is in hospital.
1:19 pm: Well-being check, High Plain Road.
3:25 pm: Hit-and-run crash with injury on union Street.
8:37 pm: South Main Street business requests assistance with customer refusing to pay bill. Bill was paid.
11:22 pm: Shed fired on River Road.
11:31 pm: Walk-in reports his 42-year-old girlfriend is missing from Minuteman Road. No issue – she just went to the store.
Saturday, Jan. 21
12:10 am: Assist Merrimack College Police in response to report of a man with a handgun at O’Brien Hall on Walsh Way. Call cleared.
12:47 am: Woman arrested on Beacon Street after police responded to a report of a disabled motor vehicle.
3:29 am: Woman told officers responding to another call on River Road she believes her ex, who she has a restraining order against, is chasing her.
5:08 am: noise complaint, South Street.
10:23 am: “Lots of items” reported stolen from garage on George Street two nights ago.
11:07 am: Noise complaint, South Street.
11:09 am: Garage break-in, George Street.
11:11 am: Loose dog, Elm Street.
11:45 am: Garage broken into and car entered on Yale Road.
12:57 pm: Fraud, Old Berry Road.
6:09 pm: Report of someone entering garage on Princeton Avenue and taking items a few days ago.
8:31 pm: Water main break, Blueberry Hill Road.
9:54 pm: Report of someone hunched over in car with doors open on North Main Street. Man is fine — was playing radio while waiting for his wife in Stop and Shop.
11:09 pm: loud party on Shattuck Road.
Sunday, Jan. 22
11:45 am: Erratic operator, Tewksbury Street. Vehicle not located.
3:18 pm: Hit-and-run crash, no injuries, on Lowell Street.
9:31 pm: Noise complaint, Washington Park Drive.
9:36 pm: Motor vehicle break in on Downing Street.
Monday, Jan. 23
1:20 am: Man yelling and crying outside building on Woodview Way. Officer spoke with the man, who was on phone with his mother. Asked to “keep it down.”
1:43 am: Two kids on Brickstone Square, moved along.
8:44 am: Motor vehicle break in on Saturday night on Elm Street reported.
9:35 am: Fraud, Appletree Lane.
9:56 am: Unconscious driver in moving vehicle on Interstate 93. CPR administered when the vehicle was located stopped just south of Route 133 on 93 North.
12:29 pm: Fraud, Dascomb Road.1:50 pm: Scam, Gleason Street.
3:35 pm: Fraud, Riverina Road.
4:07 pm: Detective investigation, North Main Street.
4:45 pm: Car left scene after crashing into a utility pole on Chandler Road. National Grid notified, neighbor has photo of vehicle.
7:01 pm: Resident believes two town plows maliciously drove onto his lawn.
7:46 pm: Bitcoin fraud, Aspen Circle.
Tuesday, Jan. 24
11:18 am: Student attempting to flee school on Shattuck Road.
11:31 am: Three-car crash with injury on Federal Street at River Road.
11:51 am: Crash with personal injury on Enmore Street at Haverhill Street. Pregnant woman would like to be checked out.
12:01 pm: Well-being check, Lupine Road.1:52 pm: Property damage, Lowell Street.
1:56 pm: School staff on Shattuck Road report student walked away from school. Student returned to school without incident.
