With thunderstorms in the forecast Monday evening, Andover postponed the Jerry Silverman Fourth of July Fireworks until Thursday.

The rescheduled show will begin at approximately 9:20 p.m. on Thursday.

Monday evening’s forecast is calling for a 63 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, including heavy and torrential downpours at times. Heavy rain is also in the forecast for Tuesday, when the Town is scheduled to hold the remainder of its Fourth of July events.

Tuesday’s schedule of events includes:

8:30 am: Pancake Breakfast at the Robb Center

10:30 am: Fourth of July Spirit Parade

11 am: Celebration In The Park at the gazebo in The Park at the corner of Chestnut & Bartlet Streets
