Andover will have a new holiday tradition this year: the first annual Andover Holiday Market Dec. 2 from 2 to 8 p.m. at South Church.

The indoor-outdoor market is modeled on European Christmas markets, and will raise funds for the Andover Farmers Market. The indoor portion of the market will feature more than 25 local artisans and a beer and wine garden from Oak & Iron Brewery in Andover and North Andover-based Marble Ridge Winery.

Holiday shoppers will be able to buy jewelry, pottery, art, wood crafts, ironwork, home goods, gourmet food, holiday greenery, clothing and more. Other highlights include:

Started in 2006, the Andover Farmers Market’s strategic priorities are health, community, food justice, economic development, and environmental sustainability. Since 2021, 270 shoppers used their SNAP benefits at the Andover Farmers Market, which currently has 43 vendors and averages 700 visitors per week between June and October.
