The owners of Yella Grille, a Mediterranean restaurant on Post Office Avenue Downtown, say they plan to close the popular eatery this summer to focus on family and their Gloucester location.
“We want to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who has supported us throughout the years,” Carlos and Danielle Berdahn said in a Facebook post April 26. “Your support has meant the world to us. It is because of you that we were able to turn our dream into a reality and create a place where memories were made.”
The couple also owns Yella on the Water in Gloucester, which will remain open. Yella in Andover has been open for about 15 years.
