The Andover Health Division regularly inspects restaurants, stores, schools, and other establishments that serve and sell food, and Andover News publishes the inspections reports monthly. It’s important to note it’s not unusual for a restaurant to have a few minor infractions in a report.

Restaurants

Andover Deli & Pizzeria, 22 Andover Street, on May 8
Areas where establishment was out of compliance:

  • Bleach solution sanitizer did not reach 10pm color indication.
  • Items in the walk-in cooler measured 43-42 degrees F.
  • Salad dressing in FOH reach in measured 48 degrees F.

Dunkin, 349 North Main Street, on May 22
Areas where establishment was out of compliance:

  • Flip top temperatures for sausage patty and cream cheese measured at 48F. 

Indian Street Cravings, 209 North Main Street, on May 13
Areas where establishment was out of compliance:

  • Single-use paper towels must be provided at hand sinks at all times. On inspection, paper towels were missing.
  • Observed hand sink not hard plumb causing spillage when hands are being washed.
  • Observed fan with dust and mold.
  • Thoroughly clean floors, paying attention to areas underneath shelving and equipment, to remove build up of debris/grease.
  • Thoroughly clean splash off of walls.

Kokoro Craft Udon, 12 Post Office, on May 7
Areas where establishment was out of compliance:

  • Floor under prep sink needs repairing.
  • Far left of cook line needs cleaning between equipment.
  • Grease interceptor servicing cook line and floor beneath, need cleaning.

Mr. Takeout, 54 Haverhill Street, on May 22
Areas where establishment was out of compliance:

  • No sanitizer available upon start of inspection.

Shawsheen Luncheonette, 2 Poor Street, on May 22
Areas where establishment was out of compliance:

  • Sanitizer measured at incorrect concentration. PIC drained sanitizer and remade, testing at proper concentration.

Spinners Pizza Parlor, 195 Andover Street, on May 8
Areas where establishment was out of compliance:

  • None.

The Dish, 22 Andover street, on May 8
Areas where establishment was out of compliance:

  • Sanitizer test strips expired

Stores

Shawsheen Village Liquors, 2 Poor Street, on May 22
Areas where establishment was out of compliance:

  • None.

Sunday General Store, 195 Andover Street, on May 8
Areas where establishment was out of compliance:

  • CFPM certificate not posted. Inspector to follow up with office re: current certificate.

Thwaites Market, 18 Red Spring Road, on May 14
Areas where establishment was out of compliance:

  • None.
