Andover residents will need to reapply to vote by mail in the annual town election on March 26, even if they have voted by mail in prior elections.

A provision that allowed Town Clerks to automatically send ballots to voters who had previously voted by mail expired at the end of 2022.

To apply for a mail-in ballot, complete this application and return it to the town clerk’s office (36 Bartlet Street) by 5 p.m. on Feb. 27. You can also drop your application off in the lock box outside town offices.

There is no early-voting option for the annual town election. The deadline to register to vote in the annual town election is March 16. You can register to vote up until April 21 to participate in the annual town meeting beginning May 1.

Candidates have until 5 p.m. on Feb. 6 to return nomination papers for signature certification to appear on the 2024 ballot.
