Andover Fire Rescue and police arrived at an Andover home just in time to welcome Andover’s newest resident Monday morning.
First responders were called to a Walnut Avenue home around 9;50 a.m. While the baby had already been born by the time they arrived, Andover Fire Rescue and police provided post-delivery help and transported mom and baby to Lawrence General Hospital.
“Mom and baby appeared to be healthy,” Andover Police Lt. Edward Guy said. Other details, including the baby’s gender, were not immediately available.
