No one was injured in an early morning fire on Lowell Street in Andover Monday.

Andover Fire Rescue was called to the home at 3:33 a.m. Dispatchers and the 911 caller, who was inside the building, had trouble communicating because of a language barrier. Dispatchers could hear smoke alarms in the background and urged residents to evacuate.

The 3,000-square-foot house was a half mile away from the nearest fire hydrant. Rooftop solar panels also complicated the response. A second alarm was struck at 4:18 a.m.

The home was declared a total loss, fire officials said in a news release.
