As Andover begins enforcing the new, town-wide, 25 mph speed limit, Andover News will include the speeding enforcement information in addition to the selected entries from each day’s police log. Police made 8 speeding stops between Nov. 21 and 27, down from 33 last week.

Monday, Nov. 27, 5:31 am: Loud bang reported at Lowell Street apartment complex. Caller had previously reported to leasing office. Upstairs neighbor spoken to. “Unknown what the noise was, may have been an elderly person’s walker.”

11:39 am: Woman locked in bathroom, Florence Street.
12;48 pm: Arrested a 47-year-old Andover woman on South Main Street for OUI and resisting arrest.

5:49 pm: Arrested a 61-year-old North Andover woman on charges of OUI, Marked Lanes Violation following a crash with no injuries on Main Street.
