A 32-year-old Lawrence woman is facing multiple charges after leaving the scene of a fatal crash on Interstate 495 in Andover on Saturday.

Massachusetts State Police said Jaymee K. Miller, 32, of Lawrence, was driving a Ford Edge sedan and rear-ended a Honda Fit, pushing it into the guardrail along the north side of the highway. Police found the license plate from Miller’s car at the crash scene. Lawrence police located Miller and her damaged car at a Gulf gas station on Route 114 shortly after the crash.

Police were called to the crash site on the northbound side of the highway around 10:45 p.m. Saturday. Andover firefighters had to free a 76-year-old man and 75-year-old woman, both of Methuen, from the backseat of the Honda Fit. Both victims were taken by helicopter to a Boston hospital, where the woman, Luzmila Quispe, died.

The 22-year-old Methuen woman driving the car and a 53-year-old Methuen man who was riding in the front passenger seat were taken to the hospital by ambulance with minor injuries.

Miller was charged with OUI-liquor, leaving the scene of a crash with personal injury, and leaving the scene of a crash with property damage. Additional charges could be filed.
