Children’s Librarian Kate Dugan — better known as “Miss Kate” to generations of Andover kids — will soon be saying good bye to Memorial Hall Library.
Dugan, who does everything from organizing STEAM events to recommending kids books for readers of all ages, is retiring after nearly 40 years in the Children’s Room. The library will be honoring her with open houses from 10 to noon and 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday.
