Elizabeth M. McAloon, “Liz, Lizzie, Lizard,” of Gold Canyon, AZ, joined Jesus on January 20, 2024, due to injuries sustained in a tragic car accident.

Elizabeth was born on December 28, 1995, in Winchester, MA; she was the cherished daughter of Kimberly (Chandler) Surette and Ysacar Espinal.  Elizabeth was raised in Andover and graduated from Andover High School. 

Elizabeth met her husband, Nicholas T. McAloon, while they were in high school.  They dated for several years before marrying on January 6, 2015.  Nick served in the Army; they were stationed in New York for a several years, before moving to Arizona.  Elizabeth and Nick are the proud parents of Josiah and Rima. Elizabeth was a strong, beautiful, and selfless wife and mother.

Elizabeth was a valued member of the One Life church community and spread the love of God everywhere she went. She volunteered long hours hosting Bible studies for high school girls, while also caring for babies and children during services. In her own words, “there was nothing better than teaching babies about Jesus.” She was known for her loyalty to family and her love for Jesus.

Elizabeth had many passions in life outside of church; she loved music, especially Bad Bunny. She also enjoyed sharing her creativity through makeup and taking photos. Elizabeth had so much love to give and could light up any room she went into. Elizabeth loved preparing dinners for the holidays with Nick, Josiah, and Rima. She loved listening to others talk and tried her best to always help any way she could. She adored her dogs and making personalities for them.

Nick remembers Liz is an amazing wife, a selfless, and nurturing mom who he and the kids could always count on. She was the backbone of their family. Josiah and Rima will miss their mother deeply and remember her as a light in their lives for years and years to come. They know they will be reunited with her again one day. 

Elizabeth shared a special bond with her brother and best friend, Tyler Fountain; they are now reunited in heaven. She touched the hearts of so many and she will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Elizabeth was the beloved wife of Nicholas McAloon, devoted mother of Josiah and Rima McAloon, cherished daughter of Kimberly (Chandler) Surette and Ysacar Espinal & his wife Sandra, dear sister of Ellie Mae, Alexis, and Jada, loving granddaughter of Thomas and Louise Chandler and Edelsa Perez, daughter-in-law of Bob & Leah McAloon, niece of Kristine & her husband Burton, Stephanie (Honey), Kerri, Auntie Cuz (Paula), Jenny & her husband Daniel, Gerson, and Jay.  Elizabeth is also very special to her cousins, Julia, Owen, Graham, Kai, Ilan, Cruz, Greyson, Kelvin, Athena, Sam, Joe, Gerson, Jr, Edelsa, and Camila, her brother-in-law Cullen McAloon, Nana Starr & John “OG”, as well as her church community and many friends.

Family and friends will gather for Visitation at Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rte. 62), Wilmington on Monday, January 29th from 4:00-7:00 p.m.  A Funeral Service will take place in Free Christian Church, 31 Elm Street, Andover, on Tuesday, January 30th at 1:00 p.m.
