A storm bringing have heavy winds and up to an inch of rain to Andover had knocked out power to 11 percent of Andover’s customers as of 11:30 a.m. on Monday.

National Grid had yet to set an estimated time for when the 1,578 customers would have power restored.

There was some good news: the National Weather service is predicting the Shawsheen level would stay below the flood stage of 29 feet. The water level was measured at 26.91 feet at 11 a.m. Monday.
