A brush fire broke out early Friday morning in the Harold Parker State Forest.
Andover Fire Rescue was being assisted by firefighters from North Reading and Middleton to fight the fire, which was described as extensive.
Most of Massachusetts was under a red flag warning Tuesday and Wednesday. Red flag warnings are issued when high winds and try conditions increase the risk of fires.
