Meet Henrietta, Andover.

The turkey seen hanging out at the intersection of Haverhill and Lowell Streets this week prompted dozens of calls to Andover Animal Control. In a Facebook post, Animal Control Officer Katie Kozikowski said in a Facebook post Henrietta appears to be healthy and uninjured.

“My best guess is that she was booted from her flock nearby on Frye Circle, and she didn’t go far,” Kozikowski wrote. “And no matter how hard anyone tries to help her to a safer location, she just keeps returning to her beloved intersection to watch the cars go by.”

So, for now, drive safe and say hello to Shawsheeen Village’s new mascot the next time you’re in the north part of town.
