Yes, that was Brooksy’s pizza in Andover featured in the opening scene of episode three in “Ted,” the new Seth McFarlane series that shot scenes Downtown last spring.

“Ted,” a Peacock TV series is a spinoff from 2012’s Ted and 2015’s Ted 2 starring Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis. Set in 1993, the series is a prequel to the movies, depicting the life of the talking teddy bear and his best friend John Bennett. The movies and show were created by Family Guy creator Seth Macfarlane.

It’s the second time in less than a year Hollywood has come to Andover. “Madame Web,” a Spider-Man spinoff starring Dakota Johnson and Adam Scott, built a set for the film’s “4 Star Diner” on baseball fields near the West Andover fire station in August 2022 and opened to miserable reviews earlier this month.
