Andover Fire Rescue and Massachusetts State Police performed CPR on a 21-year-old North Andover who was ejected from her car onto the median of Interstate 495 after a two-car crash on the southbound side of the highway Friday morning.

State Police spokesman John Sullivan said the victim, whose identity was not released, was taken to Lawrence General Hospital with “serious injuries.” There was no update on her condition as of 2:30 p.m. on Friday.

The woman was driving a 2013 Toyota Camry, which crashed around 7:50 a.m.with a dump truck driven by a 56-year-old woman from Augusta, Maine. The crash happened near the junction of Route 28.
