A 39-year-old New Hampshire man is facing a drug charge after picking the wrong place to take a nap Tuesday.

Andover Police Lt. Edward Guy said police were called to River Road around 7:26 a.m. to check on two people sleeping in a car. Matthew Belluche, the officer who spoke to the two, saw a small bag of brown powder he believed to be heroin and arrested Paul J. Descar, of Manchester, NH.

Descar told Belluche the bag was his and the other person will not be charged, Guy said. Descar was arraigned on one charge of possession of heroin, a felony, in Lawrence District Court Tuesday.
